Reflections Eco Reserve is the perfect get away for anyone wanting a nature holiday. We are situated 4.5 half hours from Cape Town. Our self catering lodge is on a 28 hectare rehabilitated pine plantation and has only 4 chalets to ensure maximum privacy and exclusivity. The whole property is powered by a combination of wind and sun that creates the ultimate clean holiday. Our aim is to create an environmentally friendly, sustainable and comfortable holiday experience.
Located on the Rondevlei and surrounded by the Garden Route National Park we have access to it all: beaches, forests, mountains, birding and fantastic walks are all very accessible from the reserve.
The Rondevlei is part of a series of estuarine lakes that contribute in a large way to the Garden Route’s fame as South Africa’s favourite holiday destination. As a designated Ramsar site no boating or fishing is permitted. This ensures a tranquil vacation and great birdlife. Besides nesting resident Fish Eagles we boast about 140 species of bird life as well as Cape Clawless Otter, Water Mongoose, Caracal, Bushpig, Grysbok and Grey Duiker.
Our beautiful appointed luxury chalets can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children each and comprise 2 bedrooms, large bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, an additional toilet as well as an outdoor shower. An upstairs loft can accommodate single guests and children.
